The Little Lamb
I was praying and saying that God could go through my house, my body, among all my possessions, and He could have anything He wanted. Even if I really wanted it and couldn’t live how I wanted to without it.
Because I was choosing to remember that it is His anyway.
It’s all His.
He owns it all and He’s just given it to me to have, or use, or invest, or borrow.
But, after choosing to see that everything I have is really the Father’s, I pictured and imagined Him giving me a little lamb. (And I thought of Trace) and imagined The King giving it to me in a very early, dependent, and weak state, like before it was weaned. Maybe broken in some way, but also maybe not.
Maybe it was just young, and little, and weak. And I imagined me taking extra good care of it.
Like that was the biggest project, job, and therefore purpose for the time being. To grow this little lamb to be healthy and strong because the job was worthy and worth all the effort and all I put into it, all it cost me, even time and everything else – to present a perfect and strong, healthy, fully mature and healed lamb * to the King.

And He was pleased because that’s exactly what He wanted me to do. Nothing more.
All of this was shown to me/given to me almost like a parable and answer to prayer while I was at my church during the hours it’s opened on Mondays for us to come in and pray.
While I am still here, the Father told me to take this from my notepad to the blog without editing it (other than correcting some spelling).
It’s a little bit vulnerable to share something so raw, and new, and personal, but I have chosen to obey what I hear the Father telling me.
“And the King will answer them, ‘Don’t you know? When you cared for one of the least of these, my little ones, my true brothers and sisters, you demonstrated love for me.”

My Most Used Beautycounter Products
Beautycounter has a lot of products to choose from, so it can be hard knowing where to start.
Ultimately, what works best for you may not be the same as what works for me. But, honestly it’s hard to go wrong when you’re using quality products. I’ll share what I use most often and why.

It’s a little tough to say if these three are my favorite Beautycounter products, but they ARE the ones I use most often – as in every day!
1. Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion
This one provides 24-hour hydration and adapts to what your skin needs throughout the day.
It adds a subtle and very natural, looking glow. This won’t give you a full on dewy look. It just brightens up your face and makes your skin look healthy and feel great.
I use it in the morning whether I’m wearing makeup for the day or not.
I like it because my skin actually absorbs it. It’s not greasy or heavy and it doesn’t feel like it’s just sitting on my skin or clogging my pores. And, it really does keep my skin hydrated all day long.
2. Countermatch Intense Moisture Serum
I actually mix a bit of this serum in with the moisture lotion and apply it all over my face every morning.
The texture of these two mixed together is my favorite!
It contains two forms of hyaluronic acid, vitamin C, and vitamin E, which provide antioxidant protection and skin firming properties. Hello, younger looking skin!
3. Counter+ All Bright C Serum
Vitamin C serums are used to brighten and even out your skin tone. This one does exactly that!
I use this every morning around my eyes. You can definitely use it all over your face to help even out your skin tone. It reduces the appearance of dark spots while also helping to fight against new ones.
The reason I use it around my eyes is because I haven’t slept through the night since I was 6 weeks pregnant.. my son is now 13 months old. So, the fact that I don’t have permanent dark circles around my eyes screams of the effectiveness of this product!
Since it contains turmeric, it also helps reduce inflammation. So, say goodbye to puffy morning eye bags.
Are They Worth The Investment?
I mean I’m buying and using them, so obviously I think so.
